Question-Week ending Sunday 04/06/03:
Please describe your current level of health and energy, taking into consideration your current age. Please read our Poll Commentary before taking this poll.

Pre-Poll Commentary:

I am a firm believer that EVERYTHING YOU DO IN LIFE COUNTS! You have arrived at this point in your life by all of your previous decisions, actions and circumstances of the past. With the exception of genetic influences, your actions or inactions have a lot to do with your level of health and energy.

Maintaining an excellent level of health and energy for your age group takes time, knowledge, planning and ACTION. We have conducted several polls in the past to research this topic. For instance, one of our polls revealed that only 6% of our respondents believed that their eating habits were Unbelievable or Excellent. Another poll revealed that 38% of our respondents took vitamin supplements daily to improve their health and energy levels. In another poll we learned that only 28% of our respondents sleep soundly for 6 hours or more per night. We also conducted several polls on exercise, including stretching, aerobic training and strength training. All of these activities have a direct effect on one's health and energy levels.

If you read the commentaries and full results of the above polls, I think you would agree that good health and high energy are no accident. Instead, these are the by-products or benefits derived from good time management and planning for a healthier and happier life.

Because I use a PIM to manage my daily schedule, I include healthy disciplines into my daily routines. It's part of my plan and a part of my life that I enjoy. It's also a critical part of my "no excuse" time management system. You can do the same, if you aren't doing so now.

I think it's safe to say that health and energy are one of the most critical parts of life. Nothing matters more! In this week's poll, please describe your current level of health and energy, taking into consideration your current age. This poll will end on Sunday 04/06/03, when the results will be displayed.

1. 42% voted their level of Health & Energy was Good
2. 38% voted their level of Health & Energy was Very Good
3. 19% voted their level of Health & Energy was Excellent
4. 02% voted their level of Health & Energy was Fair
5. 00% voted their level of Health & Energy was Poor

Post-Poll Commentary:
Based on our poll results, most of our respondents believe that their level of Health and Energy is Good or better. However, less than 20% voted excellent.

As I stated so many times throughout this website, our decisions and choices will always have a major impact on the quality of our life. It's so important to manage and allot our precious TIME wisely, to fit in the activities that are critical to living a healthier life.

Don't be an excuse maker. Be a planner. Execute your plans and feel good by doing so. Energy is created from the positive experiences that you create for yourself. Time management is how you make the petal hit the metal and fly down the road in a well conditioned body. Make every moment count and make your life THE BEST it can be!
